Outdoor Irrigation Schedule.

To ensure that your drinking water is safe and potable, Little Bear has implemented a number of programs to comply with existing federal and state laws and regulations. A few of the programs are listed below:
  • Monthly Coliform Sampling and Testing - Little Bear's monthly coliform monitoring sampling and testing results is as of September 2014 reporting as "absent" which include testing of its raw source (Well No. 3).
  • Stage 2 Disinfection Byproduct Sampling and Testing - Sampling and testing of the designated two sites that are located at the end of Little Bear's distribution system, test results meets both federal and state standards.
  • Lead and Copper Sampling and Testing - The district Lead and Copper Program in which tap sample are taken from selected residential homes (10) all test results meets federal and state standards.
  • Asbestos Sampling and Testing - Little Bear's quarterly sampling and testing for asbestos for designated sites within the distribution system, test results as of September 2014 was reported as "none detected."
  • Hexavalent Chromium Sampling and Testing - The requirement that water utilities test their raw source(s) (at the well) for Hexavalent Chromium, all reported initial results was reported as "none detected.
In addition to better service you, our customers, Little Bear to ensure the safe of its drinking water has initiated monthly sampling and testing for the following:
